Soliciting Donations for “A Knight Out”

Our Mission - To find businesses or homeowners willing to be sponsors or to donate gift cards, items, services, or vacation rentals to be auctioned off at the big event. We hope to have each committee member make at least three contacts and finalize all donations by August 1st.

Step 1 - Check this list of businesses or individuals that were targeted for last year’s event. If your name appears in the first column next to a business or homeowner, it means you made this contact  last year. You may choose to target the business again, or delete your name so someone else can make the contact. 

Step 2 - Add your name to a blank cell in the first column next to a business that you would like to target. You may also approach businesses that are not listed on the sheet. Use this brochure as a guide as you speak to prospective donors and leave a copy with the business if necessary. Step 3 - Once the donation has been confirmed, fill out this form to record the necessary information. You will need to fill out a separate form for each donation, but you do not need to fill out a form if the business or homeowner decides not to donate. 

Step 4 - Collect the donation and bring it to Chuck Lang and Lori Lang at 4186 Applebutter Rd, Doylestown PA, 18902. Please get the donation to Chuck as soon as possible, but no later than August 15th. If you need help picking up the donation, email Chuck at chucklang5@gmail.com or Lori at lorialang@gmail.com
